As many as 748 Bangladeshis have died of coronavirus infection in 17 countries till Saturday evening.
Among them 258 in the United States, 200 in the United Kingdom, 88 in Saudi Arabia, 45 in the United Arab Emirates, 17 in Kuwait, 9 in Italy, 9 in Canada, 5 in France, 5 in Spain, 4 in Qatar, 2 in Sweden and 2 in the Maldives, One Bangladeshi died in Maldives, Portugal, Kenya, Libya, South Africa and the Gambia respectively.
In overseas, the most number of Bangladeshis affected in coronavirus so far in Singapore. Till yesterday, the number of victims in the country has exceeded 27 thousand. The number of Bangladeshis among them is about 14 thousand. After Singapore, 7,000 Bangladeshis in Saudi Arabia and 3,000 in Qatar have been infected with the coronavirus.
Two more Bangladeshis have died in Canada in the last 48 hours from coronavirus infection. Apart from Canada, no Bangladeshi has died of coronavirus infection in the last 48 hours in any other country in the world.
