Walton produces Medicart robot, UV-C disinfectant system

Bangladeshi electronic giant Walton is already started producing some medical equipment including a ventilator to fight coronavirus pandemic. Now Walton started manufacturing the Medicart robot and remote control UV-C light disinfectant system.

Today, Walton will hand over the medical equipment to the ICT division of Bangladesh for a clinical trial. State Minister for ICT division Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak and senior officials from the ICT Division and Walton will attend the videoconference, Which is going to be held at 3 pm.

According to the sources, the model of the Medicart robot device is ‘WRMC-400 AP-2020’ and it is entirely developed by Walton’s own designs. Controlled by RF frequency, this automatic robot can cover a range of 400 meters in diameter and automatically carry food, medicine, medical or other equipment to sufferers in isolation.

The robot powered by a lithium-ion battery and can run continuously for 6 hours on a single full charge.

This robot can be applied to treat coronavirus patients or patients with other infectious diseases in isolation. Doctors can operate this robot via any digital remote system while sitting in his place.

They can give medical care to the patient as well. It holds a special camera, microphone, and speakers that enable physicians and patients to communicate with each other through video conferencing.

In addition to the medical field, this robot can also be used in other places as well where robot assistance is needed.
