The Bangladesh Ministry of Land has increased the deadline for paying the present year’s land development tax till June 15, 2020, because of the outbreak situation of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country.
The Ministry of Land has declared a government order today in this issue, a press release stated.
According to the present government rules, the last day of Chaitra of the Bangla calendar which is April 13 is the deadline for paying the annual land development tax.
Adding that this year the deadline was extended due to the general holidays and restriction on people’s movement in a bid to check the spread of pandemic coronavirus.
