Russia noted its peak quotidian rise in confirmed coronavirus cases on Sunday with 10,633 new cases, bringing the general number of cases to 134,686, the authorities’ official website reported.
The deathrate has slowed in the last few days however, and remains much lower, in relative terms, than many other countries.
The countrywide death rose to 1,280 after 58 people demised within the last 24 hours, according to coronavirus crisis response centre of Russia.
