Hollywood legend and coronavirus survivor Tom Hanks has composed a consoling letter to a harassed Australian kid called Corona and gifted him a treasured typewriter bearing a similar name.
Eight-year-old Corona De Vries sent a letter to Tom Hanks asking after his wellbeing, media reported.
Hanks apparently reacted with uplifting statements, composed on one of the typewriters he frequently hefts around.
Hanks likewise gave him a Corona-marked typewriter that he had brought to Australia saying “I figured this typewriter would suit you.”
Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson contracted COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus, in March and spent two weeks recovering in a Queensland hospital, before returning home to the United States.
