Lamudi celebrates their 5th year anniversary in Bangladesh

In a press conference at 1.00 pm, Lamudi reflected on its 5 years of the journey and the progress of the real estate sector in Bangladesh. The event, at the Birds Eye Roof-Top Restaurant in Dhaka, was the perfect location to reveal their nationwide social campaign ‘Amar Shohor, Amar Gorbo’ to mark not just their company’s anniversary celebration but to celebrate the country as a whole.

Lamudi’s campaign invites individuals to capture the unique character of the city with a selfie picture.  By using the hashtag #AmarShohorAmarGorbo and #LamudiBD all photos will be uploaded on the website www.amarshohoramargorbo.com and showcase Bangladesh’s quirky and special beauty.

The photos will be tagged by city, area and season to optimize performance on Google and beyond to make Bangladesh visible all over the world.

“We cannot wait to roll this out completely; the initial feedback has been absolutely amazing!” Mrs. Hermans also referred to the potential of the internet: “At this moment, more than 80 million people are online in Bangladesh. It would be absolutely stunning if we, as a nation make the biggest rooftop selfie record of the whole world. We think it is possible and cannot wait for the results!”
