British American Tobacco Bangladesh (BATB) bags top prize of ‘ICMAB Best Corporate Award-2016’ in Manufacturing (others) category for excellence in corporate governance.
Managing Director of BATB Shehzad Munim and non-executive Director (former govt. secretary) K H Masud Siddiqui received the award from the Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith at a ceremony held in a city hotel on Sunday, 28 January 2018.
BATB has been receiving the award for the last couple of years in recognition of transparency, corporate good governance, and responsible business operation. This time, The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has given awards to 27 companies for promoting corporate governance in the country’s corporate sector.
