Building Energy, a multinational company operating as Global Integrated IPP in the Renewable Energy Industry, will participate in the first edition of The European House – Ambrosetti’s “High-Level Dialogue on ASEAN Italy Economic Relations”, taking place in Jakarta, on May 15th and 16th 2016. The Italian company will be represented by Sergio Benocci, co-founder and Managing Director Europe-Asia.
The event, organised in collaboration with Associazione Italia-ASEAN, chaired by former Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta, is endorsed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and Confindustria (General Confederation of Italian Industry) and is supported by Building Energy as Senior Sponsor.
The Summit is an exclusive meeting that brings together about 200 preeminent Italian and ASEAN political and business leaders. It aims to become an annual event where the leaders of these Nations can meet and reinforce their strategic and business relationship, building profitable political and economic partnerships.
Sergio Benocci will take part in the Summit with a speech focused on Building Energy’s approach to the Asian renewable energy market, during the session ‘Technology for the Future – Green technology’, scheduled on Tuesday, May 16th.
Building Energy owns a gross capacity of 134 MW of green power generation trough power plants in Americas, Europe and South Africa including one of the Africa’s largest PV plants of 81 MWp in Kathu, South Africa. The company is currently involved in the development of a global pipeline of over 2,600MW of renewable projects across four different technologies (PV, biomass, wind and hydro). Additional 700MW are under construction or in advanced development.
