Tokyo stocks opened lower on Thursday as the yen strengthened against the dollar and investors contemplated the minutes from the US Federal Reserve’s latest meeting.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index slipped 0.13 percent, or 24.91 points, to 19,354.96 in early trading while the Topix index of all first-section issues was down 0.13 percent, or 2.10 points, at 1,554.99, reports BSS.
