Two adults and two children were killed on Sunday in a light aircraft crash in Toledo Province in central Spain, local emergency services have confirmed.
The aircraft, which had taken off from the Cuatro Vientos Airport in Madrid at around 16:00 p.m. (1500 GMT) en-route to the town of Cascais in Portugal, came down at around 16:20 (1520 GMT) in an area known as Canada Real Leonesa in Spain, reports BSS.
The crash was witnessed by a shepherd, who alerted rescue services. But when the rescuers rushed to the site they were unable to do anything and the flames were not extinguished until two hours after the accident.
