Afroza Khanam, the Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism, visited Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport today and gave staff instructions to improve passenger services while expressing satisfaction with overall management.
According to a press release here, the minister examined the airport’s overall functioning while visiting several important locations.
She shared her opinions with relevant personnel and gave the orders needed to enhance passenger services even more.
On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the minister distributed sweets among officers and staff on duty and extended Eid greetings to all.
She also greeted passengers at the airport and wished them safe, smooth and pleasant journeys.
Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) Air Vice Marshal Md Mostafa Mahmud Siddiq accompanied the minister during the visit.
Among others, CAAB Member (Operations and Planning) Air Commodore Abu Sayeed Mehboob Khan, Member (Administration) S M Lablur Rahman and Member (Security) Air Commodore Md Asif Iqbal, along with other senior officials, were present.
The minister expressed satisfaction with the overall management and service standards of the airport and urged authorities to maintain the momentum in the future.
