Biman Bangladesh Airlines said today that customers who have tickets for its temporarily suspended Middle East routes will be eligible for free date changes or complete refunds.
Due to the changing circumstances in the Middle East, the national flag carrier declared that flights to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, and Dammam have been suspended since February 28 and would stay that way until further notice.
Nonetheless, Biman keeps running its other Middle East flights on a regular basis to Jeddah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Muscat.
Biman authorities said passengers who purchased tickets for the temporarily suspended routes during the affected period can obtain the refund or date change facility without any additional charge.
Passengers may receive these services from any Biman sales centre at home or abroad or from the travel agency through which the ticket was purchased, the airline said.
Passengers are urged to call the Biman call center at 13636 (domestic) or +88096109 13636 (international) for more information about flight operations.
Passenger safety and security continue to be Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ top priorities, the airline said, adding that it is keeping a careful eye on the Middle East situation and will provide more details as needed.
