A day after an AFP correspondent noticed smoke billowing from the mission in the wake of Iranian attacks on Kuwait, the US embassy said on Tuesday that it would be closed until further notice.
The US Embassy in Kuwait will remain closed until further notice due to persistent regional tensions. All routine and urgent consular appointments have been canceled,”
