On Tuesday, March 3, there will be a total lunar eclipse. It was said today afternoon in a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate.
The moon will be completely within the earth’s umbra for 58 minutes and 18 seconds on the day of the total lunar eclipse.
With a maximum magnitude of roughly 1.115, the moon just completely enters the shadow of the earth.When the moon’s near side completely enters the earth’s umbral shadow, it is known as a total lunar eclipse.
End of the partial phase of this eclipse will be visible in Bangladesh just after moonrise if the sky remains clear, it said.
The moon will enter penumbra at 02:42 pm (Bangladesh Time) and enter totality at 5:03 pm on March 3 while leave penumbra at 8:24 pm on the day.
According to the release, the sighting is scheduled to start at 6:01 p.m. in Dhaka, 6:00 p.m. in Mymensingh, 5:56 p.m. in Chattogram, 5:54 p.m. in Sylhet division, 5:05 p.m. in Khulna, 5:01 p.m. in Barishal, 5:07 p.m. in Rajshahi, and 5.04 p.m. at Rangpur division.
According to the ISPR, the eclipse will be visible in the nation’s divisional cities from 6.01 pm to 8:28 pm at Rangpur Division.
