Remittance inflow grew by 22.4 percent year-on-year, reaching $2,792 million in the first 25 days of February in Bangladesh

Remittance inflow grew by 22.4 percent year-on-year, reaching $2,792 million in the first 25 days of February, according to Bangladesh Bank (BB) data issued today.

Last year, during the same period, the country received $2,281 million in remittances, reports BSS.

During July to February 25 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent $22,225 million in remittances compared to $18,242 million in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
