voco hotels, IHG Hotels & Resorts’ fastest-growing premium brand which celebrated the milestone of 100 open hotels worldwide this past summer, has debuted its largest property in the Americas. voco Times Square – Broadway joins the brand’s two existing New York City locations, voco Times Square South New York and voco The Franklin New York, for a total of seven in the state.
voco Times Square – Broadway opens as a 32-story hotel with 419 guest rooms in the heart of Midtown/Times Square, following the opening of voco Astoria this past summer in New York. The hotel is one of the final new-build developments approved in this landmark neighborhood.
Combining the reassurance and familiar feel of a large hotel with the informality and charm of a smaller, individual hotel environment, voco Times Square – Broadway offers guests a dependable yet approachable premium stay experience.
Through its design, the hotel draws inspiration from New York City’s Prohibition-era speakeasies, blending sleek lines, rich textures, and stylish furnishings with modern comfort. Through a welcoming entrance, guests step into a lobby designed with plush seating, warm lighting, and thoughtful details that create a cozy, engaging atmosphere reminiscent of the Jazz Age.
Guest rooms and suites are made for unwinding and feeling at ease, pairing vintage-inspired touches with contemporary comforts, distinctive décor, and a refined palette that feels effortlessly calming.
Overlooking New York City, this hotel features Times Square’s only hotel rooftop with unobstructed, panoramic views of the city skyline, providing a one-of-a-kind vantage point in Midtown. An expansive 2,400 sq. ft. indoor/outdoor hybrid rooftop offers a flexible space for sky-high celebrations, perfect for groups, special events and private gatherings, and locals looking for a vibrant atmosphere. At the heart of the hotel, The Velvet Fox bar and lounge serves handcrafted cocktails, small artisanal plates, and live music in a lively, intimate setting.
Located at the highly visible and bustling intersection of Seventh Ave. and West 48th St., the property will overlook its namesake landmark while also offering convenient proximity to Radio City Music Hall, the Museum of Modern Art, the Empire State Building, and many other notable New York City attractions.
