At a ceremony held at the Armed Forces Division (AFD) in Dhaka Cantonment here today, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman pinned the rank badge of “Major General” on Kaiser Rashid Chowdhury, the new Director General of the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI).
This afternoon, the Directorate of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a statement.
The ISPR stated that Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Mohammad Nazmul Hassan, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, and Adviser in Charge at the Ministry of Defense Brigadier General (retd) Shamsul Islam were also present.
