PM holds first office at AFD

Today was Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s first visit to his office at the Armed Forces Division (AFD) in Dhaka Cantonment.

The chiefs of the three services greeted Prime Minister Tarique Rahman upon his arrival at the Armed Forces Division in Dhaka Cantonment at 9:00 am, according to PM’s Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman.

Before beginning his scheduled engagements, the premier greeted the chiefs of the three services.

Tarique Rahman presented Major General Kaiser Rashid Chowdhury and Lieutenant General Mir Mushfiqur Rahman with their new rank badges at his office as part of the day’s schedule.

Prime Minister’s Defence Adviser Brigadier General (Retd) Dr AKM Shamsul Islam, Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral M Nazmul Hassan and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, Defence Secretary Md Ashraf Uddin and Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Abu Abdullah M Saleh, Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman and Private Secretary-2 Md Mehedul Islam were present on the occasion.
