After touring a polling station in the city, former Ghanaian President William Nana Akufo-Addo, who is currently the head of the Commonwealth Election Observer Mission, expressed his delight with the atmosphere surrounding Bangladesh’s National Parliamentary Election and referendum.
Following his visit to the capital’s Viqarunnisa Noon School, the head of the Commonwealth Election Observer delegation expressed his pleasure with the polling activities.
According to Akufo-Addo, he is really delighted with the voting environment thus far.He expressed hope that the voting process will continue to be peaceful nationwide and mentioned that he witnessed calm voting at the polling station.
Bangladesh’s 13th National Parliamentary Election is being watched by the Commonwealth Election Observer Mission, which is headed by former Ghanaian President William Nana Akufo-Addo.
