Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation (Petrobangla) has appointed Md. Erfanul Haque, additional secretary of the Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources, as its chairman.
A notification in this regard was released by the public administration ministry yesterday, and joint secretary Abul Haiyat Md Rafique signed it.
The notification also transferred current chairman of the state run Petrobangla Md Rezanur Rahman to the Bangladesh Petrleum Corporation as chairman. It said the order issued for public interest will come to effect immediately.
