Voting in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad election and referendum has been completed by 432,989 foreign voters who registered using the “Postal Vote BD” app.
The information was revealed to BSS today by Salim Ahmad Khan, Team Leader of the “OCV-SDI” initiative on expatriate voter registration.
According to him, as of 10:30 a.m. this morning, 766,862 ballots that were registered via the app had arrived in the nations where the expatriates were going.
Of these, 499,328 expatriate voters received their ballots, while 432,989 voters completed the voting process, he added.
He claims that 29,728 postal ballots have arrived in Bangladesh and 379,579 ballots have already been sent by voters to post offices or post boxes in their various nations.
Salim Ahmad Khan added that via the “Postal Vote BD” app, 15,33,683 voters, both domestic and foreign, have registered to cast ballots in the 13th Jatiya Sangsad election and referendum.
