UNDP Bangladesh Launches SDG Socializers Season 2

With the start of Season 2 of SDG Socializers, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Bangladesh has brought together a fresh set of content producers who will utilize their influence and inventiveness to spark discussions and motivate action on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The project’s main goal is to translate difficult development problems into clear, interesting material.

Building on the success of Season 1, the new cohort brings together content creators, artists, activists, educators, athletes, and digital storytellers to connect global goals with everyday life.

Stefan Liller, UNDP Bangladesh’s resident representative, welcomed the content makers and stated, “The SDGs can only succeed if people see themselves in them.” Our SDG Socializers show how imaginative storytelling can transform global objectives into something actionable, local, and personal.

Md Abdul Quayyum, UNDP Bangladesh Head of Communications, said, “With a few more years left to achieve the SDGs, we need social media content that goes beyond awareness. Our goal with SDG Socializers is to make people aware of the goals and motivate them to take action.

Through SDG Socializers, UNDP Bangladesh continues to promote innovative, people-centred approaches to development communication.
