US oil majors soar on Wall St after Maduro deposed

Shares of Chevron, ExxonMobil, and ConocoPhillips shot up on Wall Street early on Monday following the US overthrow of Venezuela’s leader and its announcement of plans to revive the nation’s oil sector.

ExxonMobil increased by 2.1 percent in opening trading, while Chevron and ConocoPhillips both saw increases of over four percent.
