For a rerun of a Christmas carol service on Wednesday, Princess Catherine of Britain and her daughter Charlotte have collaborated to play a piano duet in a prepared recording.
Sitting side by side, the two performed an excerpt from a composition by Scottish composer Erland Cooper, with Catherine using only her left hand and 10-year-old Charlotte, engrossed in concentration, using just her right.
The event, which was captured within Windsor Castle, was included at the beginning of an ITV channel broadcast of the yearly “Together at Christmas” ceremony that Catherine hosted in early December at London’s Westminster Abbey.
The recording was unexpected because it wasn’t included when the service was first shown on television.
One of the most well-liked members of the British royal family is Catherine, who hosted the event for the fifth time this year.
Months after disclosing in March 2024 that she was receiving treatment for an unidentified malignancy, the 43-year-old future queen declared herself cancer-free in September of that same year.
Prince George, 12, Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, are her three children with Prince William, the heir apparent.
