The International Crimes Tribunal’s (ICT) prosecution team now has a global ambassador designated by the government.

Barrister Muhammad Saif Uddin Khaled, a British barrister of Bangladeshi descent, was named the global ambassador by the Ministry of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs. He would serve as the international spokeswoman for the ICT prosecution.

In addition, Afzal Sami Syed-Ali, a British attorney of Bangladeshi descent, has been named the ICT head prosecutor’s special prosecutorial adviser.

A press release from the ICT Chief Prosecutor’s Office today said both the officials have been appointed for a one-year term on an unpaid basis.
