China halts export ban to US of some materials used in chips: ministry

Beijing’s commerce ministry said on Sunday that it had lifted a prohibition on the shipment of some essential parts required to manufacture semiconductors to the United States.

According to a statement from the ministry, export restrictions on dual-use products associated with germanium, antimony, and gallium will be lifted until November 27, 2026.
