Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr. Asif Nazrul today visited the Mohila Karigori Proshikkhan Kendra (Women Technical Training Centre) here in the district to observe its teaching, learning and other academic activities.
During the visit, Dr. Nazrul toured various academic sections and programs of the centre and exchanged views with students and teachers.
Expressing satisfaction with the centre’s activities, he praised the dedication of the teachers, students and staff. “I’m very much delighted to see the sincerity and honesty,” he said.
Principal of the centre, Shafiqul Islam, briefed the adviser on its initiatives aimed at empowering women through skill development and vocational training.
He said that by offering competency-based education and helping to create standards, curricula, and training materials, the university is preparing students for both domestic and global labor markets.
He continued by saying that the center’s main goals are to generate skilled labor, make sure that training programs satisfy the needs of both companies and students, and facilitate job placements through events like job fairs.
