The Administrator of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), the nation’s premier trade association, has been taken over by Md. Abdur Rahim Khan, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce.
According to a news release from the FBCCI, Rahim officially assumed his duties as the organization’s new Administrator this morning.
In accordance with Section 17 of the Trade Organizations Act, 2022, Md. Abdur Rahim Khan was designated Administrator of FBCCI by an office order issued by the Ministry of Commerce.
As per the order, Rahim will complete a fair and impartial election within 120 days and thus hand over responsibility to the newly elected board.
