US to revoke Colombian president’s visa over ‘incendiary actions’

Gustavo Petro, the Marxist president of Colombia, had his visa revoked by the US State Department on Friday due to his “incendiary actions” during a street rally in New York.

According to a State Department post on X, “Earlier today, Colombian President @petrogustavo stood on a NYC street and urged US soldiers to disobey orders and incite violence.”

“We will revoke Petro’s visa due to his reckless and incendiary actions,” added the statement.
