Documentary film ’36 Hours of Betrayal’ on BDR massacre released

’36 Hours of Betrayal’ is a documentary film that was made on the BDR atrocity.

“Under the initiative of the Cultural Affairs Ministry, a series of documentaries are being made on the misrule during the fascist regime and the July uprising. The film ’36 Hours of Betrayal’ based on the Pilkhana massacre was released today as part of that series,” said a press release issued here from Chief Adviser’s Press Wing.

According to press release, the BDR massacre of February in 2009 marked a turning point in the nation’s history, setting the stage for 16 years of authoritarian rule and subjugation.
