Biman flight returns to Ctg after technical glitch

A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight traveling from Dubai to Dhaka via Chattogram made a precautionary return to Shah Amanat International Airport this morning after encountering a technical issue mid-air. All 287 passengers on board are reported safe.

Flight BG 148 had initially landed safely in Chattogram at 7:15 AM (Bangladesh Standard Time). After a scheduled stopover, the flight departed for Dhaka at 8:37 AM. However, a technical fault was detected shortly after takeoff, prompting the pilots to return to Shah Amanat International Airport, where it landed safely at 8:58 AM.

“All passengers are safe, and the aircraft is currently positioned at Bay No. 8 of Shah Amanat International Airport,” Biman Bangladesh Airlines stated in a press release. Airport authorities and Biman officials are reportedly working to address the technical issue.
