This July, Dhaka Flow and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands invite you to Transformation, an art exhibition where creativity meets change. From 1 July, experience an inspiring art exhibition of seven renowned South Asian artists at the NL Residence Gallery.
“It’s always a pleasure to host beautiful art and bring various people together, art that inspires them into reflection, change and connection,” says André Carstens, the current Head of Mission.
Featuring works by Vinita Karim, Rokeya Sultana, Asma Akber, Ranjit Das, Biplob Chakroborty, Prashanta Karmakar, and Abdus Shakoor, the exhibition explores themes of personal and collective transformation through striking visual narratives rooted in the rhythms of modern life. But that’s not all. Transformation also includes two breathwork and meditation sessions inside the gallery, led by yogis Ish and Shazzy Om, inviting participants to breathe, feel, and reflect in the presence of inspiring art, and three art healing workshops at the Dhaka Flow studio to deepen participants’ creative self-discovery. Meanwhile, Dhaka Flow will follow up with emerging artists for which it will launch a call for artists soon on its social media platforms.
“Art is medicine for the soul,” says Shazia Omar, founder of Dhaka Flow. “Through this collaboration, we’re creating a space for beauty, healing, and creative awakening.” For workshops and healing sessions you can register here.
