Bad weather disrupts several Dhaka-bound flight movements

Adverse weather conditions in Dhaka today necessitated the diversion of one international and three domestic flights bound for Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) to Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram.

According to HSIA officials, Air Arabia Flight 514, an Airbus A321 carrying passengers and cargo from Sharjah, was rerouted from its scheduled landing in Dhaka and safely touched down in Chattogram at 4:33 PM.

Among the domestic flights affected, Air Astra Flight 446, operating on the Cox’s Bazar–Dhaka route, was diverted and landed in Chattogram at 4:32 PM. Additionally, two US-Bangla Airlines flights, BS164 and BS188, both ATR aircraft originating from Rajshahi and Saidpur airports respectively and destined for HSIA, were also rerouted.
