Bangladesh and Sweden have affirmed their mutual interest in strengthening bilateral cooperation across areas of shared concern, encompassing regional stability and the protracted Rohingya crisis.
This reaffirmation occurred during a courtesy visit by Bangladesh’s newly appointed Ambassador to Sweden, Wahida Ahmed, to Swedish Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Stockholm, according to a press release received today.
The Swedish Foreign Minister welcomed the Ambassador, extended congratulations on her new appointment, and acknowledged the enduring and amicable bilateral relations that have developed over the past five decades.
