IDB to provide Argentina with up to $10 bn in financing

Argentina will receive “up to $10 billion” in public and private funding over the next three years, according to a Friday announcement from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

A fresh $20 billion loan arrangement from the International Monetary Fund and a $12 billion commitment from the World Bank accompany the move, which is still pending approval by the IDB’s board of executive directors.
