Mojibur Rahman, an Executive Director (ED) of Bangladesh Bank, has been named ICB Islami Bank’s Managing Director.
Following the dissolution of the bank’s board of directors, the central bank made the decision.
The appointment is intended to protect depositors’ and the bank’s own interests while guaranteeing sound governance in banking operations, per a Bangladesh Bank regulation.
Mojibur Rahman will carry out the responsibilities and execute the authority of the Managing Director and the Board of Directors.
In the interest of depositors and the general welfare, the current board has been dissolved in accordance with the Bank Companies Act.
