bKash honoured with Excellence in Investment Award-2025

Today, bKash, a mobile financial services provider, received the ‘Excellence in Investment Award-2025’ in recognition of its noteworthy contribution to the nation’s economy through luring foreign direct investment.
Kamal Quadir, the founder and CEO of bKash, received the award from Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025 in this hotel.

Ashik Chowdhury, Executive Chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), and Lutfey Siddiqi, Special Envoy on International Affairs for the Chief Adviser, were also in attendance.
The award was given by BIDA in appreciation of bKash’s ongoing work in financial inclusion, innovation, job creation, and sustainable growth.

bKash, a joint venture of BRAC Bank, US-based Money in Motion LLC, International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank Group, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, China’s Alibaba Group’s Ant International, and Japan’s SoftBank Vision Fund, operates as a payment service provider offering broad range of digital financial services under the regulation of Bangladesh Bank since 2011.
