According to the Israeli army, soldiers killed an attacker who opened fire on soldiers at a military checkpoint in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, east of the city of Jenin.
“A terrorist opened fire on troops at a Taysir military installation. The terrorist was killed by the soldiers after they engaged in gunfire,” the military stated in a statement. According to Israeli army radio, two troops were critically ill.
