Land ministry’s updated server launched

The land ministry’s software has been upgraded to make land services more user-friendly and online land management less complicated.

According to a news release from the ministry today, the software has been modified to enhance online land service and offer users integrated services.

In order to update the software, the ministry’s online services were unavailable from November 26 to December 1, 2024.

Land mutation, registration, tax collecting, Khatian recording, and other functions will be made simpler by the new software.

The ministry’s revised website www.land.gov.bd has been launched on December 1, 2024.

According to the press releases, all land-related data has been moved to the Bangladesh Computer Council’s national server.

Mohammad Gias Uddin, the ministry’s senior public relations officer, told BSS that the data server center has been connected to high-speed internet so that users may access services quickly and without interruption.
