Fire in Tejgaon truck stand garage under control, 6 trucks gutted

This morning, a fire that started in the city’s Tejgaon truck stand’s garage was put out.

According to Fire Service and Civil Defense media wing officer Talha Bin Zasim, the fire started at approximately 8:05 a.m., BSS was informed.

After an hour of desperate efforts at nine in the morning, he added, three fire engines from Tejgaon fire stations arrived at the scene of the incident in five minutes and completely contained the fire.

According to Zasim, the fire destroyed six trucks, but no one was hurt.

It was not immediately possible to determine the cause of the fire.
