Abdulla Ali Abdulla Khaseif AlHmoudi, the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Bangladesh, paid a courtesy call on A F Hassan Ariff, the interim government’s adviser on tourism and civil aviation, at the Bangladesh Secretariat today.
They covered a number of topics during the meeting, including how to advance the cordial ties between the two fraternal nations and their willingness to work together more in the future in a variety of industries.
The ambassador hoped that the third terminal at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport will be the focal point of new prospects.
He said that in addition to opening up new trade, commercial, and tourism opportunities, the airport will expedite investment and job flow in the aviation industry.
Adviser Hassan Ariff encouraged the UAE ambassador to hire more physicians, engineers and professional people from Bangladesh.
Senior ministry officials were in attendance, including with Nasreen Jahan, secretary of civil aviation and tourism.
