Govt resumes dialogue with political parties this afternoon

The advisers council led by Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, will hold dialogues with political parties today on continuation of its new round of political dialogue.

“As part of ongoing dialogue, Chief Adviser Prof Yunus will hold talks with some political parties, which will start at State Guest House Jamuna here at 3 pm today”, CA’s Press Secretary Safiqul Alam told BSS.

The conversations this afternoon will be joined by the Gano Forum, the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), the Jatiyatabadi Samamona Jote, 12-party, the Jatiya Mukti Council, the Labour Party, the Jatiya Party (Andalib), and a few more political parties.

The political parties’ viewpoints will be solicited in order to debate how the reform process may be advanced in the talks that will be held with them.

The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and a few other significant political parties entered the government-led talks with the political parties on October 5, 2024, the day the talks were formally opened.
