Foreign Affairs Advisor Md. Touhid Hossain stated that under the current interim administration, Bangladesh’s tense relations with the US have improved.
Towards the end of its administration, there were some unwarranted tensions with the United States. At a press conference held this afternoon at the foreign ministry here, he did, however, inform reporters that since the interim government took office, things had significantly improved.
According to the foreign adviser, tensions between Dhaka and Washington were unnecessarily raised during the previous term of the Awami League government, which was overthrown.
He underlined the importance of keeping cordial ties with all nations while concentrating on Bangladesh’s relationship with the US.
“We want to build good relationships with everyone. We were able to rectify the policy aberration that caused the earlier tension with the US, he said.
