Macron condemns Iran attacks on Israel in ‘strongest possible terms’: Elysee

On Wednesday, French President Emmanuel Macron denounced Iran’s strikes against Israel “in the strongest possible terms” and said his country has “mobilized” its armed forces in the region to confront Tehran.

According to a statement from the Elysee Palace, Macron also asked Israel to “put an end to their military operations as soon as possible” and demanded that the Lebanese group “Hezbollah cease its terrorist actions against Israel and its population.” He also said that France would “shortly be organising a conference in support of the Lebanese people and its institutions.”
