Hezbollah, a militant group based in Lebanon, announced on Saturday that fifteen of its militants had been killed the day before in an Israeli airstrike on the group’s stronghold in Beirut, including a second top commander.
According to the Iran-backed group, between October 7, when the Palestinian militant group attacked Israel and started the Gaza war, and the beginning of this year, Ahmed Mahmud Wahbi oversaw the combat operations of its elite Radwan Force in support of Hamas.
The Israeli military claimed that Ibrahim Aqil, the head of Radwan Force, and three other leaders were killed in an airstrike on Beirut’s southern suburbs on Friday.
