Yao Wen, the Chinese ambassador to Bangladesh, paid a visit to Md. Jashim Uddin, the recently appointed foreign secretary of Bangladesh, at the foreign ministry today.
The Chinese embassy stated that during the meeting, the two sides engaged in extensive viewpoint exchanges on regional and global issues of shared concern, pragmatic cooperation in a number of fields, and China-Bangladesh relations.
They also talked on the celebration of Bangladesh and China’s 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties.
