Air Vice Marshal Md. Monjur Kabir Bhuiyan, the chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB), requested Japan’s ongoing assistance today in order to advance the growth of the nation’s aviation industry.
According to a news statement issued here, he requested assistance during a courtesy call by Japanese Ambassador to Bangladesh Iwama Kiminori at the CAAB headquarters in the capital.
They talked on matters of shared interest during the meeting, such as Japan loan payments and the opening of the third terminal at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
Both parties stressed how crucial it is to move quickly to open the airport’s third terminal in order to facilitate passenger services.
The chairman of CAAB thanked Japan for its ongoing assistance to Bangladesh and expressed hope for more collaboration.
According to the press release, the talks also centered on bolstering bilateral ties and improving mutual cooperation and communication in the aviation sector between the two nations.
