With a cost of Taka 2,922.36 crore, the Annual Development Program (ADP) was implemented at a rate of 1.05 percent in the first month of the current fiscal year (FY25), July.
The most recent report from the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) states that, with an overall allocation of Taka 3,489.09 crore, the ADP implementation rate in July of the previous fiscal year (FY24) was 1.27 percent.
In July, the first month of FY23, the ADP implementation rate was 0.96 percent, at a cost of Taka 2,455.05 crore.
According to IMED officials, the ADP implementation rate typically stays low at the start of the fiscal year since project officials are preoccupied with the requisite paperwork and preparations.
For the current fiscal year, the government has allotted Taka 278,288.90 crore for ADP.
Approximately 1,352 development projects are planned for the current fiscal year, comprising 1,155 investment projects, 21 feasibility study projects, 87 technical assistance projects, 9 projects funded by the development block, and 80 projects funded by relevant organizations’ own funds.
