National booters reach Bhutan safely

The Bangladesh Football Federation received a communication here today (Friday) stating that the national football team of Bangladesh arrived in Bhutan without incident this afternoon (Friday) in order to play two away friendlies against the host nation within the FIFA September window.

The first game is scheduled for September 5 and the second match on September 8 for the men of Javier Cabrera.

The national booters departed here for Bhutan earlier in the afternoon.

Under coach Cabrera’s guidance, the national booters had a just three days to prepare for the two games.

The 23 players that make up the Bangladesh national football team are: Isa Faysal, Shakil Hossain, and Shakil Ahad Topu (defender); Sohel Rana, Md Ridoy, Jamal Bhuyan, Md Sohel Rana, Mirajul Islam, Chandan Roy, and Mojibur Rahman Jony (midfielder); Rakib Hossain, Sheikh Morsalin, Faysal Ahmed Fahim, Shahriar Emon, and Rabby Hossain Rahul (forward).
