Vietnam police bust baby trafficking ring

According to official media on Wednesday, Vietnamese police have detained over a dozen persons in connection with a baby smuggling ring that transported sixteen babies throughout the nation’s cities and provinces.

As reported by the official newspaper of Ho Chi Minh City Police, sixteen men and women have been arrested for the trade of infants who were three days to three months old.

Through private social media groups, the gang preyed on women, taking advantage of those who were having difficulty supporting and taking care of their children.

According to the study, they paid between $400 and $930 for each infant.

The group then sold the fake adoption paperwork for between $1,400 and $3,000 after fabricating them.

Since the year’s commencement, police have looked into 84 possible cases of infant trafficking in 32 different cities and provinces.
